報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：
張福振，遼寧人。先后在沈陽(yáng)師范大學(xué)，北京師范大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)和工作。1989年赴美留學(xué)，93 年獲得美國(guó)加利福尼亞大學(xué)圣巴巴拉分校(UCSB) 數(shù)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)為美國(guó)佛羅里達(dá)諾瓦東南大學(xué)教授。主要研究方向?yàn)榫仃嚪治觯€性及多重線性代數(shù)。至今發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文80余篇，著作3本。在世界各地做學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告近百次。為一些國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)雜志編委和國(guó)際會(huì)議組委會(huì)成。曾獲諾瓦東南大學(xué)杰出教授獎(jiǎng)，上海市“海外名師”稱號(hào)。參與創(chuàng)建南佛州中國(guó)科技教育文化協(xié)會(huì)（CASEC），并曾任主席，南佛州現(xiàn)代中文學(xué)校校長(zhǎng)等職。
報(bào)告摘要：
The classical Birkhoff polytope theorem states that the polytope of n-by-n doubly stochastic matrices is generated by the n-by-n permutation matrices. We extend this notion to multi-dimensional arrays (aka hypermatrices or tensors). Studying the polytopes of line- and plane- stochastic tensors, we present some upper bounds for the number of the vertices of the polytopes via various approaches and show comparison of these bounds.
